Seven-Year old honored by East Lake Fire Rescue

     Seven-year old Alex Miller, a second grader at Brooker Creek Elementary and a Lansbrook resident, is presented with a certificate for "Bravery and Quick Thinking in an Emergency Situation" by East Lake Fire Chief, Jeffrey Parks.  The certificate was presented during a meeting of the East Lake Fire District Board on Sept. 24.
 
    Alex was honored for remaining calm, caring for his two year old sister, Faith, and calling for assistance when a babysitter became incapacitated recently at his home.
