East Lake Fire Commission approved $161,000 for the purchase of a new brush truck.  By recommendation of the Brush Truck Committee (Commissioner Dedman, Division Chief May, DC Hejl, Lt. Teolis, FF/P Podolak) a Firematic B.R.A.T. will be purchased.  The B.R.A.T. (Brush Rapid Attack Truck) is manufactured in Long Island, New York by Firematic and will be replacing the existing 1973 brush truck.  Delivery should take place sometime in December 2005.                                   www.firematic.com
