This vehicle was designed to utilize exterior compartmentation  for equipment storage and transportation of supplies and equipment to outlying stations.  This allows the five person cab to remain open for personnel when needed.  Command can be run from inside the cab using the command board, laptop with on board preplans, and mobile radio or the rear bed slid can serve as a work station for a multi-agency unified command.  The rear bed slid can be sheltered using the onboard 10' x 10' EZ-UP tent.  This 4x4 vehicle will also be utilized in our nearby wildland-urban interface preserve to retrieve injured hikers and transport them to an awaiting ambulance on the hardtop.  The 8' rear bed slide and sliding roof can accommodate a fully packaged patient on a long spine board with an onboard medic.  During emergency situations such as a hurricane, this vehicle can be utilized as a back-up ALS rescue unit carrying 4 -5 personnel.  The front and rear hitch assemblies come in handy for a variety of towing and winch applications.
