Santa Sign Up Information

Our annual sign up for the Santa Truck will be held on Saturday, November 5, from 9:00a.m. - 2:00p.m. at Station 57, 3375 Tarpon Lake Blvd, Palm Harbor, Fl 34685

If you would like the Santa Truck to visit your home during the holidays, and live in the East Lake area, plan on registering on this day.

We plan our visits based on the number of children at the household, so have that information for us when you register.

If you can’t make it to our sign up, give us a call beginning November 7 (727-784-8668) from 8:00a.m.- 4:00p.m.  Monday through Friday. Ask for Marianne or Robin. Time slots fill up fast!

      Each year Santa Clause teams up with the East Lake Firefighters to deliver presents to the boys and girls in the East Lake area.  Santa rides on our fully restored 1961 American LaFrance Fire Truck and makes personal stops to children's homes.  If you are interested in Santa visiting your home this year, please read the following guidelines below to sign up.

    It is our pleasure to provide this fulfilling service to you each year.  The program has become so popular we have had to implement a few changes to handle as many children as possible.  We must ask that you follow the below guidelines in order to accommodate everyone. 

• The Santa Truck will run from Dec. 1st thru the 22nd in 2011.

• A Rain makeup date is set for Dec. 17 from 1:00pm - 3:00pm (by appointment only)(No raindate after the 17th)

• No gift larger than a Shoebox will be accepted.  We must enforce this rule due to limited space on the vehicle.

• Wrap each gift with child's name on the OUTSIDE.  (Families in large groups - wrap your children's gifts in the same wrapping paper and put in the same bag so they will be distributed together).

• Package all gifts for STOP in a Large bag with the TAG from the bottom of the form given to you at sign up.

• Deliver your STOP's bag(s) to Station 57 the DAY OF your Santa visit.  (hours: 8:30am - 3:30 pm.  Mon-Fri

• LATE GIFTS ARE NOT ACCEPTED at the fire station.  Bring it to your stop and hand up to a firefighter on the Santa Truck.

• Block Parties are encouraged.  We will need to know how many children will be at your stop in order to properly schedule Santa's visit.

• Have cameras ready before Santa arrives.

• No fire truck rides due to strict time constraints.

• Please be patient.  Santa will arrive as close to the scheduled time as possible.
   

*Donations are gladly accepted.  This program is funded entirely by your donations, not your taxes.  The money is used to staff and maintain our fully restored 1961 American LaFrance Fire Engine for Santa.
