East Lake Fire Rescue takes delivery of two new
2003 Saulsbury ALS
Engines

"A" shift crews move equipment from the old E58 to the new E58

East Lake Fire Rescue recently took delivery of
two new 2003 Saulsbury ALS (Advanced Life Support) Engines. These two new
Engines will replace the current ten year old Engines of 56 and 58.
The new ALS Engines will be used primarily for medical calls, vehicle accidents
and fire suppression. With the addition of these two new Engines East Lake
Fire Rescue has updated it's entire front line fleet in 2003, Squad 57 was
delivered in early 2003. One of the old Engines will be moved to reserve
and the other is to be sold with our current reserve unit.
The new Engines are equipped with the following:

1,250 gpm Hale pump 750 gal poly water tank 10kw hydraulic generator Advanced Life Support equipped light tower 1 Scott Eagle II Thermal Imaging Camera Ventilation equipment
