Thomas B. Dobies Donates 11 Recliners

July 26, 2011 Tom Dobies is honored at the East Lake Tarpon Special Fire Control District Board Meeting for his donation of 11 new leather recliners on July 20.  His generous donation has provided three fire stations with all new recliners.  Tom Dobies owns and operates Dobies Funeral Home & Creamatory located in Tarpon Springs and throughout Pasco County.  Mr. Dobies has been known for his support of Police and Fire agencies over the years.  Our first contact with Mr. Dobies was several months back when preparing for "Operation Prom Promise" at East Lake High School.  Chief Jamison had contacted Mr. Dobies for the use of a hearse which he kindly obliged.  During that same conversation he also offered a helping hand of support which has led to the recliner donation.  Once again East Lake Fire Rescue would like to say "Thank You" to Mr. Tom Dobies.
